February Newsletter
Parents,
2012 has already brought many blessings our way. The children are all growing in so many areas. As God sends new additions to our classroom, we are excited to see the children being examples to the new friends and including them as they play together. February is another very fun month as we celebrate God’s love for us and our love for one another. We will be enjoying Valentine’s Day parties on February 14th and 15th. (C-1 children only event) If your child(ren) attend both days, please send 20 valentine cards for each day. No names on Valentines as the children will pass them out on their own. Valentine treats will be provided. We are now focusing on developing small motor skills and will be introducing guided scissor cutting.
Please remember to put names on all of your child’s items such as coats, sweaters, lunch bags and backpacks. Thank you so much for your continued support.
When your child is having a birthday, we would love to celebrate in class. If you would like to do so, please let us know when and what treat you would like to send to school.
We are extending an invitation to our Grandparents for Friday, February 17th from 10:30-11:30. Please join us in our class (C-1) as we celebrate Grandparents’ Day with punch, tea and cookies. If Grandparents are unable to attend may we suggest a substitute such as other relatives or special friends. Also, if you plan on sending your child(ren) home with their Grandparents, please send a note giving permission.
Reminder: Friday, February 17th is a Half-Day. 12:00 pick up. No lunch. No Student Life. No Jump Bunch.
Miss Judy will be having knee surgery Friday, February 24th. She will be out for a while recovering. Please hold her up in prayer, as we desire a speedy and pain free recovery
